Mercer playing fetch

I was just sitting on the couch one day flipping my hair rubberband into the air. suddenly, it caught Mercer's attention. So then I decided to flip it across the room and Mercer chased after it. I called to him and then he accually brought it back and we have been playing fetch ever since.

3rd Anniversary

Ben and I just had our 3rd wedding anniversary. We went down to Panama City, Fl where we stayed in a very nice Marriott Golf Villa. We stayed there for the night and got to go to Shell Island and play on the beach. While we were at Shell Island I got to see a stingray jump out of the water and also we saw a alligator. Then we continued on to Apalachicola, Fl where we stayed at a best western for 2 nights and then stayed in a bed and breakfast for one night. We went to St George Island and played in the ocean. We got to see dolphins early in the morning just swimming along the shore. While we were at the beach a thunder storm blew over and it was one of the coolest things I have seen. We had lots of fun and would love to go back one day.

4th of July

For the 4th of July we (Ben and I, Aaron, Bonnie, Sadi, Mckay, and Jackson) went to Calloway Gardens. We played in that water, sat on the beach, and watched fireworks. We had a blast! The firework show was good but not as good as the ones they have in Utah.

Memorial Day

For Memorial day we went to Tennessee and spent the weekend with my sister-in-law's family. We had lots of fun playing in the pool and just hanging out. On Monday we had a big BBQ. We also got to hang out with Ben's parents. They were in town for three weeks and we all had a good time. We also got to ride in a gator around the farm.

The Race For The Cure

THE RACE FOR THE CURE

ATLANTA, GA 2009

I did my first race it was a 5k. I finnished in 41min and 30sec. I ran with the smokin' hot mammas team. I ran and finnished with my sister-in-laws cousin Haley.

Georgia past-times

Okie Noodling (pronounced ooky-noodle-ing) or just Noodling is the art of catching catfish with your bare hand. This is accomplished by feeling around the banks of murky rivers searching for catfish burrows. Once a burrow is found the Noodler puts their arm into the burrow and allows the catfish to bite it. The catfish is subsequently pulled out. Here Jenn is standing next to her favorite Noodling spot, wearing a tradional women's Noodling blouse, and giving her best Noodling face.

Utah

We are back from Utah. We had a great time. We loved seeing our families and friends. The snow was fun to see and the food was very good. I miss Utah food so much. We spent time looking at houses while we were out there. My nephew just had his second birthday. We miss everybody and hope to see you soon.

Update:

Well I am still working at the bank. It is ok. I really want to change careers. Ben is in his last semester of school work and then it is onto rotations. We are trying to enjoy our time out here in Atlanta, Ga.
